“My NEW Website I'm so Excited!!”
 Donna and I have spent the last six months putting together a Sensational New Website.
Many of our clients’ homes have been featured on the new site. I have had the opportunity to work with some of the greatest people over the past 24 years, and it has been my absolute pleasure and challenge to create beautiful homes, windows and interiors, unique to each individual. I have been so blessed over the years to meet clients that are excited and enthusiastic about my ideas, creating solutions for their design dilemmas. There have been so many different bolts of fabric textures, colours and designs that have been sliced over my cutting tables, thousands of meters of thread running through our sewing machines, and hundreds of kilos of screws mounting drapery and blinds to the walls and windows.
I am proud to present our showcase of drapery and interior design. The business has also transformed over the years of services and products that I offer. Donna has done a fantastic job sorting through all this information, and suggested we launch the new site in September, a month where many “new leafs” are turned over with the new school season approaching.

On a Personal Note
Summertime Sewing!
- What an amazing summer we have had. Kasia and Tamara have done a tremendous job in the work studio, sewing, selecting interior design combinations, and installing blinds and drapery for our clients. I am so proud of both of them – it has been great working and bonding with them over the summer months.
- We have had such warm weather so the pool has been used often, entertaining friends and family.
It was great! My Mom celebrated her birthday in August, and even I was surprised when family from the U.S.A. came to help celebrate!
 I love organizing, directing and acting in the skits at Vacation Bible School at our church. We had a wonderful turnout of close to 70 children. I loved playing the part of Bobbie, a teenager, totally consumed in her i-pod music, instead of listening
to, and following, the instructions of her leader.
- I am constantly up-dating my skills and knowledge in all areas of interior design, and look forward to the next training session coming up in October with my favorite mentor, Sharon Moonlight.

ROOM OF THE MONTH
Jo Ann and Fred Cox had seen the
Sensational Seams Room of the
Month ad in the local newspaper
and were inspired to contact Wilma
about replacing the window coverings
in their home. The Coxes
wanted window fashions that
would prevent sunlight fading of
their new furniture and their newly
re-finished hardwood flooring.
Insulation from the cold and sun
for their kitchen was another
concern and they wanted something that was energy efficient. The patio door in
their kitchen had old vertical blinds that were out-dated and in-efficient and needed
to be replaced. Wilma of Sensational Seams replaced the blinds with Hunter
Douglas Duette VertiGlide™. An energy efficient product that has no cords, chains
or wands and stacks to 6” when pulled open. A scalloped box-pleated valance
co-ordinated with the colours of the countertop and new cabinets. The valance
added a finishing touch and was set high enough so taller individuals have easy
