Seams to Me

“Seams to me” that I am “Bursting at the Seams” to share with you a number of exciting developments at Sensational Seams. If you did not know, I am the founder and owner of Sensational Seams in Newcastle, and my slogan is: "Behind the Seams Creating Your Dreams. I have a Sensational Solution for you."

I am the only dealer in the area who offers over 25 years experience in designing and sewing creative and unique drapery in the Sensational Seams Newcastle Workroom Studio, and I enhance them with the World's Best Window Treatments by HunterDouglas. I look forward to helping you invest in the best window solutions for your home and I appreciate the dedication and referrals of my past clients.
I am expanding my business in three ways:

1. I have partnered with Exciting Windows! a national window fashions network, who brings business owners a more pleasurable and valuable business, plus a rewarding affiliation with like-minded Members, to better serve clientele.

2. I am setting up displays at Newcastle Home Decor, creating a new section in the store called "Exciting Windows! by Sensational Seams" offering the village of Newcastle a one-stop home shopping experience.

3. I have also hired, Christine Nault, an energetic lady with a creative flare for interior design.

First of all, after more than 25 years in business serving homeowners in Clarington, I have looked to Exciting Windows! for added support in training, more appointments for decorators, a market leadership plan for growth, better buying, private branding for fabrics and draperies, information sharing between leaders, advanced technology for marketing and business operations and HGTV celebrity designer Michael Payne's recommendation. On a Personal Note

• Debbie and I had a great time at the Exciting Windows Professional Window Covering Class this past December in Baltimore, MN.  We both received our certificates.
  
  
• Had a great time at the photo shoot.  Kasia will still be working with me in the new year, as well as attending University.
  
  
• The best part of my job is the installation – it’s where all our ideas and hard work become reality.  It’s great to see the reaction on my clients face when all is said and done.  We strive to make installations fun and our clients are intrigued with Jamie.  He is always full of cliches, stories and morsels of information.  I have added a corner called “Keeping you in Stitches.....by Jamie Kulyk”, with Jamie’s latest pondering.

Dressed to the Nines
- Dressed flamboyantly, dressed well.

Common lore has it that a tailor making a high quality suit uses more fabric. The best suits are made from nine yards of fabric. This may seem like a lot but a proper suit does indeed take nine yards of fabric. This is because a good suit has all the fabric cut in the same direction with the warp, or long strands of thread, parallel with the vertical line of the suit. This causes a great amount of waste in suit making, but if you want to go "dressed to the nines", you must pay for such waste.
